Patient Environment Program

The Patient Environment Program enhances the environment of the hospital and quality of care for patients.

The Society of MSK Patient Environment Program

The Society's Patient Environment Program Committee, known informally as the PEP Committee, funds proposals not otherwise covered by the Memorial Hospital budget that enhance the environment of the hospital and the experience of patients.

The PEP Committee receives proposals from MSK employees who have direct patient contact and have a keen understanding and appreciation of patients' needs.  The Committee meets twice a year- once to hear formal presentations from MSK staff and to vote for those proposals that PEP will fund and a second meeting to hear updates on previously funded projects. For MSK employees who are interested to submit a grant proposal, please inquire by emailing society@mskcc.org.
