History of The Society of MSK

The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center was founded in 1946 by a group of forward-thinking women dedicated to enhancing the hospital environment and level of patient support that have always been the hallmarks of MSK. 

Administrative Board and Associates Committee

The Society’s volunteer Administrative Board and Associates Committee, with support from staff, provide assistance for a range of enhancements to MSK’s patient care and research programs.

Patient Care Committees

The heart and soul of The Society, the Patient Care Committees work to improve and personalize inpatients’ experiences while at MSK.

The Society of MSK Prize

The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Prize is awarded annually to recognize an individual who has made significant or groundbreaking contributions to the field of pediatric oncology.
